At this meeting we will decide on and approve our top ten contract demands. We will also be electing members to the Regional Demand Setting Team. Pizza and pop will be provided.

Please join us from Noon to 1 PM for a lunch-time Bargaining Information Meeting in the Welland Room, 2nd Floor, St Catharines MTO Building, 301 St Paul Street. We will be handing out our Local Demand Surveys and answering your questions about our upcoming contract bargaining.

All members are encouraged to express their democratic right to vote at our Election Meeting on Wednesday, February 27th, in the Welland Room, 2nd Floor, 301 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines. Food will be available at 4:30PM with the meeting starting at 5:00PM. We will be electing Stewards, President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, and Secretary. We will also be electing delegates to the OPSEU Convention and presenting our budget and by-law amendments. It's your chance to have you voice heard.

Local 270 has been nominated for a number of newsletter awards. Last year we won "best local website" and "best illustration" awards.

All members are invited to our meeting on Wednesday June 27th, starting at 4:30PM in the Welland Room, 2nd floor Learning Centre, MTO building, St Catharines. We will be electing a Local Treasurer, Auditor, and presenting our Local Budget and Audit. Pizza and pop will be served. There will also be three draws for $25 East Side Marios Gift Certificates.
